I am a computational fluid dynamicist by background. I am interested in everything complex: complex fluids, complex geometries and coupled processes broadly in the field of flow and transport in porous media. I work with chemical reactions, spatial disorder, geometric intricacies and complex phoretic motion of colloids.

My research tends to span across various disciplines of engineering and applied sciences, and is driven by current challenges in the context of high-impact environmental and chemical technologies like carbon capture and storage, groundwater remediation, water-filtration systems and microfluidics for biomedical applications, just to name a few examples.
